From Bristol take the M5 to Exeter, approximately 70 miles.

At M5 J31 turn off onto the A30 and follow along the northern edge of Dartmoor and across Bodmin Moor.

About 15 miles beyond Bodmin take the A39 for 10 miles following the signs to Truro.

Continue on the A39 towards Falmouth and then take the A394 to Helston.

From Helston, take the A3083 Lizard road, past RNAS Culdrose and turn left onto B3292, signed St Keverne.

Follow road for 4 miles, passing Goonhilly Satellite Station, turn right at next crossroads, signed Kennack Sands.

Continue for 1½ miles to first turning on left signed Gwendreath, Silver Sands is 1 mile down the lane
