Gardens and ....
Many of our guests take the opportunity to visit the many beautiful gardens, Trevarno, Trebah and Glendurgan to mention just three. The gardens are beautiful all the year but especially in the spring with the azaleas and camellias, not to mention the wild bluebells, primroses and violets and if you look carefully you may even see orchids at the roadside.
The National Trust has many properties in this area of Cornwall, the most famous and notable being St Michaels Mount in Mount's Bay.
Spend a time exploring our local enchanting fishing villages, Cadgwith, Mullion, Porthleven and the many others in our area.
Walk around the lovely Helford village on the banks of the River Helford and even take the ferry across to the Ferry Boat Inn and enjoy a lunch or drink sat beside the water; from there take a ferry journey down the Helford River.
Guests with youngsters .... The younger guests are always fascinated with the seals at the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, only a few miles away. Children of all ages will enjoy a day out at "The Flambards Experience" our side of Helford; explore Falmouth and the National Maritime Museum , (certainly not dry and dusty!) Another interesting visit for the children is Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary again a short drive away.
Spend the day at the Poldark Mine and experience the conditions that the miners worked in.
You've passed the dishes pointing to the sky as you arrived to Silver Sands so why not visit the Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station. You may even decide to buy your take home presents and mementos at many of these places.
And to eat out ....
You can't come to Cornwall without sampling at least one Cornish Cream Tea. Why not try THE GRANGE at the pick your own farm near Culdrose or the Sunflower Tea Room at Myrtle Nurseries.
For an evening meal once again you are spoilt for choice.

These are but a few of the superb restaurants for your enjoyment.
