Profile Following 12 years senior management experience working within Customer Relations and Human Resources, Amanda started working as an independent consultant in 1998. She specialises in working in partnership with organisations to provide organisational development, change and personal development, ensuring that any interventions are sustainable and enhance overall business performance. Amanda is a certified practitioner for Myers-Briggs (MBTI) and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

With both public and private sector experiences, Amanda has focused on working with organisations in transition, aligning hard-line business change and results with people, organisational issues and development. Her expertise lies in helping companies understand how to successfully integrate strategy and improvement initiatives into their business and this has involved looking at the very structure and systems of the organisation to enhancing and developing the skills of leaders, teams and individuals.

Amanda is very successful in building strong working relationships with clients and ensuring their ownership for change initiatives. One of her key skills is to swiftly absorb the business strategy and culture of her client organisations and understand their key issues and then, in partnership with the owner client, to translate that into a series of options and meaningful solutions moving forwards.

In helping organisations to help themselves Amanda has been tasked to provide companies with new ways of working, developing, communicating or measuring results. In reply, she has created and delivered leadership programmes, introduced coaching as an organisational philosophy, facilitated new and existing board/team sessions and designed a number of performance management systems.

Amanda's programmes are practical and fun. The focus is on enjoying the learning opportunity to ensure key learning transfer. Performance improvement is achieved through enhanced behavioural awareness and understanding of others. The ultimate results are the delivery of organisational objectives.

Her clients have included Megabowl, Vertex, Eidos plc, Liz Earle, Virgin Cinemas (now UGC Cinemas), Punch Retail (now Spirit Group), Sainsbury's, Reuters, Inland Revenue, South West Water and Liz Earle.
